I am a semi self-taught Pet Portrait & Wildlife Artist living in western North Carolina. With a passion for drawing animals and wildlife in detailed colored pencil, I strive to capture the essence and personality of each subject. Through my art, I aim to bring the beauty of nature into people's homes and create lasting memories of their beloved pets.
I have always had a big love for drawing since I was a young child. I attended the North Carolina School of the Arts for high school, and majored in illustration. After college, I worked various jobs which meant my 'traditional' drawing skills weren't as well utilized, but then I was severely injured on the job. After being declared disabled I rediscovered drawing again as a coping mechanism and found my love for it again.
